Houston has several shopping centers and districts. Large retail malls, big name department stores, premium outlets, chic boutiques, and unique shops to fill your every need. Listed below are shopping destinations, and some products that you should be sure to familiarize yourself with.

HOUSTON GALLERIA

Located in the Memorial City area this massive shopping palladium caters to fashionistas and families alike. In addition to the scores of stores, the mall has an ice skating rink, and a 16 screen movie theater. For the kids there a themed play area and carousel. Women’s apparel and accessories stores, five desirable department stores, Cheesecake Factory and much more make Memorial City a shopping destination.

KATY MILLS MALL
A mammoth mall 25 miles west of downtown, Katy Mills is a whopping 1.3 million square feet of retail and fun under one roof. Shop more than 200 stores, including Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Off 5th, Banana Republic, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Nike Factory Store. Check out the 21,000-square-foot Off Broadway Shoes that opened in spring 2010, and taste Texas-made Blue Bell ice cream while you’re there.

RICE VILLAGE

Houston Pavilions

HARWIN DRIVE

Harwin Drive is a definite must see, a treasure chest of designer ‘look-a-likes’ and no-frills shopping. Harwin is the place to find an ever-changing inventory of handbags, sunglassess, perfumes, electronics and more, for less.
